Cape Town, South Africa is the gateway to Table Mountain and the massively diverse land that surrounds it. Our Trek is rated as challenging! Think boulders, running water, streams, indigenous shaded forest, fresh smells and a lot of green. This will be one of the most challenging trails iConquer has ever offered. You'll put your training and boots to the test on our daylong hike. You'll challenge your core strength on Summit Day. No tram can take you to where we are going! Test your strength, endurance and determination completing your journey to the top!
The Sanlam Cape Town Marathon is one of Africa's premier events. The Sanlam Cape Town Marathon is a prestigious global race open to everyone from social runners to elite athletes. The amazing route takes in the stunning natural beauty of Cape Town's mountains and rugged coastline, as well as many of the city's great attractions. It brings together runners from around the world. It includes elite athletes and non-profit teams as well as social and first-time runners. This is a world-class running event and a huge draw from runners the world over. Full Marathon, Trail Runs, 5k run & 10k walk/run.

Main Event - Day 1 - Thursday, October 15 – Arrive at Cape Town.
Our hotel is just blocks from the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront for your 4-night stay. It all starts with a Roof Top Pool Party. 900pm until.... Local Bar Food, Beers & Wine - the first three are on the house! It's the perfect cure for jetlag! SHARK TANK DRAFT! Be there to cast your vote! The winner gets to go CAGE SWIMMING WITH THE SHARKS! One team member will get drafted! (Included)
Accommodation: Radisson Red - Night 1 of 4 (Main Event!)
Main Event - Day 2 - Friday, October 16 - Early breakfast. Early Wine Tasting! We'll make a day of it!
Join us as we head west toward South Africa's world famous Stellenbosch region wineries. We will enjoy a cellar tour and tasting before continuing onto a further estate for lunch and you guessed it, more wine tasting. Lunch is a feast! Afterward, we're off to do some gin and brandy tasting before heading back to Cape Town.
Not into wine? No problem! The day is also complete with stunning scenery, casual walks while our friends are sipping. Take time to relax and learn from our resident guide as we make our way through the countryside. Its a very full day and you'll be sleeping on the way back! Your day trip includes: Local guides, entry into all sites, wine tasting, gin tasting, transportation and lunch. (Included)
Return in time for Trail Runners and Walkers to visit the EXPO and pick up your race kits.

Main Event - Day 3 - Saturday, October 17 - RUNNERS, HIKERS & GUESTS FUN DAY! A Day of Options!
Option 1. Sanlam Peace Trail 12k or 22k Trail Run, Peace Trail 5k Walk/Run. Early Morning. Select any ONE of these events, or the marathon or mountain trek to be included in your package.
Option 2. Spend the day exploring on your own to see much more of Cape Town and the surrounding area at your leisure.
Option 3. Cape Town - Townships & Robben Island - Do One or Both (Optional - costs extra)
Township Visit. We'll walk through a South African township with a local resident to learn first hand the historical and cultural lessons of a very difficult time in South Africa's history.
Robben Island. An icon of struggle, freedom and hope made famous by the imprisonment of Nelson Mandela. We'll transfer from the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront to the Robben Island Prison Museum by ferry. The visit covers the island's maximum security prison, allows interaction with a former political prisoner, includes a 45-minute guided bus tour of the island and leaves time to explore the port of Murray Bay, which houses a Muslim sanctuary and the museum shop. *This trip is subject ot weather and marine conditions.
Later Tonight - Ride The Open Top Party Bus!* - We'll transfer to Cape Town's hottest nightlife spot, Camps Bay. There are endless beach front bars, clubs, cafe's and nightlife to party the night away! Transportation and a toast of bubbly along the way! (Included). Return to the hotel whenever you like under your own power! *Type of transportation may vary depending upon the number of participants.

Main Event - Day 4 - Sunday, October 18 - TREK DAY & MARATHON RACE DAY! Step outside our hotel and the starting area is just a short walk or warm up run away. Following the race and trek enjoy a free afternoon.
This evening, get ready to party and celebrate your accomplishments at Life Grand Cafe! Bling, Food, Wine and Beer for ALL! "Edibles" are on your own! Celebration Dinner is included! No speeches. No crying. We promise! (Included)

Day 5 - Monday, October 19 – Enjoy breakfast and a leisurely morning before transferring on your own to the airport for your flight home or points beyond. For those joining the special South African Wildlife Safari with iConquer Adventure Running and Hike Ambassadors, we will provide a morning transfer to the Cape Town Airport & your SAFARI!
